The shutter is the part of the camera body that is the most fragile. Mobile phones no longer use mechanical shutters but they do have electronic shutters. So when will mechanical shutters disappear from cameras? And why is it there in the first place? Read my article about the shutter.
The camera behaves a lot like the human eye. It has a lens that can focus, it has an iris that can change in size, and it has sensors that can adapt their sensitivity. But where is the shutter in the human eye? If we don't need one, why does a camera? Will future technology and AI make the shutter completely obsolete, even the electronic shutter?
